Dispatchers coordinate the movements of means of transport vans, town cars, buses, and limousines, etc.

Key Relationships:
Internal:
General Manager, Fleet Manager, Chauffeur Manager, Operations Manager, Executive Staff and other Division Managers, Chauffeurs, Reservationist and Dispatchers.
External:
Chauffeured Guests, Visitors and Suppliers.
Essential Job Functions:
Dispatching and scheduling all transportation 2.
Taking reservations for travel 3.
Flight verification Confirmation of driver availability 5.
Receiving and placing telephone calls 6.
Collecting payment for all trips 7.
Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling reservations, questions and concerns with speed and professionalism 8.
Data entry and use of software programs 9.
Researching to troubleshoot customer problems Communicating with drivers, office staff and customers verbally and in writing 10.
Complaint resolution Organizes item orders by editing for price, promotions, weight compliance.
Protects organization reputation by keeping pricing, promotion, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities that would be offered by DTSwhen available Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, services, procedures and policies Assemble and issue required documentation such as itineraries Determine whether vehicles are available on dates requested by customers Provide information to clients on availability Confer with customers to determine their service requirements and preferences Ability to work without direct supervision Previous Customer Relations training preferred Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested Make and confirm reservations Must have computer knowledge Anticipate heavy business times and the ability to organize procedures to handle the load Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested QUALIFICATIONS The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.
Knowledge of:
-Principles and practices of fleet management -Principles and practices of safety management -Pertinent local, state and federal laws, ordinances and rules -Principles of Time Management Ability to:
